Supplements/Nutraceuticals

Many nutraceuticals may potentially be effective as an adjunct to more potent therapies. The major concern with use of these supplements, is that similar to the use of repurposed drugs, we are uncertain as to what dose will be efficacious.

The following is a subset of the nutraceuticals commonly used at ICT:

  • Melatonin,
  • Curcumin
  • Quercetin
  • Trametes versicolor (Turkey Tail) and other mushroom extracts
  • Resveratrol,
  • Vitamin D3
  • EGCG (from green tea extract)
  • Sulforophane
  • Modified citrus pectin
